Job Overview

This position involves supervising a team responsible for processing housing court applications, providing eligibility determinations, and coordinating with social services to assist clients at risk of homelessness. The role requires managing staff, ensuring timely processing, and maintaining relationships with community agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff handling application processes for Family Assistance cases, including in-person and homebound clients.
  • Assign applications, review cases, and provide guidance on complex cases.
  • Prepare reports, conduct audits, and analyze data to improve team performance.
  • Conduct team meetings and train new staff on policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with community agencies and participate in staff meetings.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent plus three years of experience in social/human services or related client services.
    • Baccalaureate degree plus 18 months of full-time experience as a Benefits Opportunity Specialist or similar role.
    • College credits may be substituted for experience as per specified guidelines.

    Position details include hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm), salary range ($58,377 - $67,134), employment type (full-time), and seniority level (Mid-Senior).
