Location:Vanderbilt University Medical Center ExternalPay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 17.50 USD HourlyJob Description Responsibilities HHS Is Hiring!We are currently seeking housekeepers in Nashville, TN, starting at $17.50/hr. This will be a temp role with the opportunity to gain full-time employment. Evening shifts available (3pm-11:30pm).HousekeeperFull-time positions availableEvening shifts available (3pm-11:30pm, M-F)Background check and proof of employment eligibility requiredWe're looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team!Provide a superior level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal.ResponsibilitiesClean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and moreMonitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areasFollow all HHS and hospital cleaning procedures and best practicesProvide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospitalAssist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficientlyQualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldCommunicate effectively in English and work well in a team environmentMust practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniformPreferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)Physical RequirementsStanding, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shiftPushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shiftMust handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectantsMust be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the jobImportant to KnowApplicants must pass a background check and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.HHS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.
