Housekeeper / Nanny Division: Domestic / Childcare Req ID: R486####### Location: New York, NY 10022 Rate : $30 - $35 per hour, plus $120 per overnight Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday. With 2 – 3 overnights required each week as a preference by the family. Hours: 40 - 50 hours guaranteed What is Offer ed : Competitive hourly rate plus overnight compensation. About the Role: A private family in New York City is seeking a dedicated and flexible Housekeeper with some childcare experience to join their household. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional housekeeping and feel comfortable assisting with childcare, who's ages are 10, 6, 3, 1 year old. Currently, there are two Nannies and one Executive Housekeeper within this home that support the family. Responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of the home, ensuring all areas are spotless and organized. Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens. Maintain the kitchen, including cleaning appliances, counters, and storage areas. Assist with household organization and inventory management. Provide occasional support with childcare, including supervision and engaging with the children as needed. Assist with meal preparation, bedtime routines, or other tasks as requested by the parents. Collaborate with parents to maintain routines and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Work seamlessly with other household staff or caregivers to ensure smooth household operations. Communicate effectively with the parents to prioritize tasks and responsibilities. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of professional housekeeping experience. Experience working with young children in a professional or personal capacity. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel requirements. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
