Housekeeper - Household Staffing : Job Details

Private Family in Washington, DC (Spring Valley) Seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Salary: $35-$40 per hour (commensurate with experience) Start Date: October 2025 A warm and welcoming family in the Spring Valley neighborhood of Washington, DC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, reliable, and able to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and care for the family's home. Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning and upkeep of the home
• Laundry and wardrobe management
• Kitchen organization and light meal prep as needed
• Running errands, including shopping and household supply management (driving required)
• Assisting with general household support to ensure smooth daily operations

Travel Requirement:

• Housekeeper will travel with the family for approximately 4 weeks between Michigan and Canada.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a private household
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage laundry, ironing, and fabric care
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (car provided for work-related errands)
• Flexibility to travel with the family during the summer
• Discretion, professionalism, and a positive attitude
