Housekeeper - CentraCare Health System : Job Details

Find your purpose joining CentraCare in Redwood Falls as a Housekeeper/Cleaner, working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean.Summary* Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged.* Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms.* Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.Schedule* Fulltime, 80 hours per two weeks.* Various shifts including Mon-Fri and also every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation. Start times as early as 5:00AM.Pay and Benefits* Starting pay begins at $17.15 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.* Pay range: $17.15 - $23.62 per hour* Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!Qualifications* High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.* Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required.* Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.* Ability to use cleaning items and cleaning products, including but not limited to mops, floor cleaners, scouring pads, buffers and vacuums.* Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift.* Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.* Ability to take initiative and work independentlyCentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
