Will clean areas such as offices, departments, corridors, waiting areas, stairwells, elevators as well as patient rooms and treatment areas. Will handle and properly dispose of waste. Job Results & Essential Function. Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Ensuring all rooms and department areas are cared for and inspected according to The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards. Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies. Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits, and disturbances. Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience. Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace them when appropriate. Adhere strictly to rules and regarding health and safety. Will handle the waste. Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance. Prioritization and time management skills.
