Applications will be screened starting September 1, 2025 Interview Process Includes: Application submission review, phone screen (only if qualified after application review), hiring manager interview, and reference checks (approximately 1-2 week process)SummaryServe as a member of the house services team and provide an exceptional experience for patrons. Areas of responsibility include house services operations and merchandise sales. Weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays required. This position will begin mid-September for training, and shifts will begin November 5th and extend through the final performance of A Christmas Carol on December 31, 2025 with the potential for an extension through January 4, 2026. There may be opportunities for exceptional individuals to continue through the end of the season.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Patron Service and Experience•Ensuring that patrons and community members have an exceptional, welcoming, and inclusive experience when attending or interacting with Trinity Rep•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, crowded environment•Managing the distribution of programs•Scanning tickets and directing patrons into the theater•Providing guidance and assistance to volunteer ushers•Answering patron questions and directing them as appropriate•Coordinating with the house services manager to foresee any seating opportunities, including patrons who need accessible seatingSafety•Monitoring mask compliance when needed•Completing daily checklists to ensure that areas of the theater are safe and ready for patrons•Checking the lobbies and restrooms for patrons before each act begins•Monitoring the house during performances to ensure safety and compliance with union agreements (i.e. informing patrons that they cannot record a performance)•Communicating with stage management before and during performances to coordinate patron entrances and exits from the house•Cleaning any patron spills, including beverages, food items, and sometimes bodily fluids (appropriate personal protective equipment is provided)RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to do each essential duty satisfactorily.
