Hourly Pooled - CASM Tutor, Mathematics & Statistics - University of Wyoming : Job Details

Provide support to students with questions in mathematics and/or statistics for the Center for Assistance with Statistics and Mathematics (CASM). JFNTMP ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Tutor for Center for Assistance with Statistics and Mathematics (CASM), and, if assigned, tutor for STEP and/or STEP Satellite. As a tutor, primary job responsibilities will be addressing student questions regarding their math/stat courses. Tutors will be required to follow and enforce CASM policy and procedure, and if assigned to STEP or STEP Satellite, follow and enforce STEP policy and procedure. Tutors will need to have excellent time management skills. Tutors need to be excellent and flexible communicators via email, and in-person. New tutors are required to attend regular tutor content trainings. New tutors are required to attend CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) trainings unless they have a Level 1 certification.
