HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $19.68

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Hotel Security Guard to join our Front Office Team. If you have strong Security Guard & customer service experience and enjoy creating a safe, functional environment for guests and team members alike, this may be the ideal opportunity for you!

• Responsible for the safety and security of the hotel not limited to, but including associates, guests, company property and company assets
• Assists with guest problems and complaints
• Perform routine property security walks to ensure the Hotel complies with safety standards
• Respond quickly and effectively to guest service requests and facility issue
• Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles and apprehends or expels person engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Assists Restaurant / Bar staff with controlling intoxicated guests
• Performs other duties as developed, directed or assigned
• Support overnight staff with guest check-ins
• This position is an overnight / graveyard position. Flexible schedule needed, weekends and holidays

• Open overnight availability including AM/PM shifts and weekends
• High school graduate. Some college preferred
• 1-2 years Security Guard experience; Hotel experience a plus
• 1-2 years customer service experience preferred; Hotel experience a plus
• PPSO Security Guard Card required
• Valid California Driver License and clean driving record required
• Trained in TIPS Alcohol Awareness / RBS required
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Relevant military experience in a comparable capacity
