Location: Lompoc, CA Status: Full-Time | Competitive Salary

Village Inn & Dave's Place are seeking a dynamic, energetic, experienced Hotel & Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our newly renovated and recently opened boutique hotel and restaurant, nestled in the heart of Lompoc, CA.

If you've been the driving force behind the scenes—supporting a General Manager and running day-to-day operations—this could be your moment to step into the spotlight.

What You'll Do:

Lead, coach, and motivate a team across hotel and restaurant operations

Ensure exceptional guest service at every touchpoint—from check-in to check-out, and from dining to events

Monitor financial performance, control costs, and contribute to revenue growth

Uphold high standards in cleanliness, food safety, and facility upkeep

Collaborate with senior leadership on marketing initiatives and special events

Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within your first 120 days

Hands-on execution of system integration and migration for optimal and accurate reporting purposes

Recruit, train, and develop team members across departments

What We're Looking For:

4+ years of hospitality management experience with direct experience in both hotel and restaurant operations

4+ years of experience supporting a General Manager with direct experience in both hotel and restaurant operations, with a strong desire and readiness to step into a General Manager role

Proven leadership skills and a strong customer service mindset

Exceptional organization and problem-solving abilities

Ability to stay calm and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment

Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays

Proficiency in property management systems and POS software

Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Adobe Acrobat

Strong technical aptitude required – “Tech Savvy”
