Overview The Host is responsible for greeting venue guests and escorting them to an appropriately sized table for the size of their party. The Host assists the dining staff in ensuring that guests receive prompt and courteous service. The Host will aid in preparing beverages and expediting food orders. The Host must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. This role will pay an hourly rate of $16.35 and is tip eligible Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching This position will remain open until October 10, 2025. Responsibilities
- Responsible for greeting guests and escorting them to tables.
- Assists in scheduling dining reservations.
- Ensure guest complaints are addressed or forwarded to a supervisor and/or manager.
- Assist dining staff in serving the guests in a prompt and courteous fashion including filling drinks and clearing tables.
- Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
- Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferred
- Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
- Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere helpful.
