The Mount Sinai Health System's Hospitalist Division is continuing to grow with Full-time, Part-time, and Per Diem positions available for Daytime and Nocturnist roles in New York and Long Island.
MSSN: The successful candidate will manage and provide clinical care for patients assigned to Hospitalist Services throughout the entire hospital care continuum, including seeing patients in the ER, on the unit, and following them to the critical care unit. The hospitalist shall ensure that each patient receives medically appropriate care 24/7. Responsibilities include coordinating discharge planning with patients, families, and care managers/discharge planners. Positions available include Per Diem and Full-Time Night (Nocturnist).
Mount Sinai's Division of Hospital Medicine is committed to providing patient-centered care. The division aligns with the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by integrating patient care, education, and research as essential elements of medicine.
Hospitalist attendings provide either daytime or nighttime coverage based on their career interests and scheduling preferences. Responsibilities include managing patients on Medicine units, admissions from the emergency department, and providing medical consultations for other services. In addition to direct patient care, responsibilities include supervising medical housestaff and allied health personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, etc.).

Compensation ranges from $180K to $340K (excluding bonuses, incentives, or benefits).
Salary Disclosure:
Mount Sinai provides a salary range to comply with New York City salary transparency laws. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialties, productivity, collections, and community needs. Salaries may fall within or outside the listed range, depending on circumstances. The listed range applies to full-time employment and excludes bonuses and benefits.
