Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist experience preferred
• Valid NY State Medical License
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients during night shifts
• Manage admissions from the ER and determine appropriate care levels
• Supervise and support residents during night shifts
• Participate in code responses and assist with central line procedures
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve hospital throughput and reduce unnecessary admissions
