Join us to change your career and help protect health and well-being responsibly and sustainably.Role Description:Hospital Services Technicians travel between healthcare facilities, providing proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for programs such as Sharps Management, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management, on a scheduled basis.Schedule and Locations:Monday: Virginia Mason (Seattle)Tuesday: UW Northwest Campus (Seattle)Wednesday: Virginia Mason (Seattle)Thursday: Evergreen Kirkland (Kirkland)Friday: Providence EverettKey Responsibilities:Travel between healthcare facilities to monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for various programs.Interact professionally with onsite staff to meet or exceed service expectations.Maintain a strict collection and service schedule.Communicate duty status as scheduled.Perform additional duties as assigned.Experience and Qualifications:At least 2 years of related experience; customer service experience preferred.Strong communication skills and tact in customer interactions.Mandatory immunizations and credentialing may be required based on customer needs.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficiency with computer and handheld software applications, including spreadsheets and KPI tracking tools.Benefits:Stericycle offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, employee assistance programs, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, 401(k), and employee stock purchase plan.
