*Please note a resume is required for this position. Pay Rate: $22.50 an hour Sign On Bonus: $2,000 hire on bonus is for new hires and rehires that are returning after 5 years or more. The bonus will be paid out in equal $333/$334 portions after successfully completing 3 months, 6 months and 9 months of employment with Treasure Island Resort & Casino. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Water, prune and plant and provide general care of all plants
- Design, layout and create flower plant arrangements
- Maintain soil stabilization, fertilization and nutrient balancing
- Push mow all boulevards
- Pot, replant, and relocate plants
- Spray herbicides and fungicides for insect control
- Maintain irrigation system
- Help with snow removal
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Required Knowledge and Certification:
- 2 year degree / certificate as a Horticulturist or 2 years of horticultural experience
- Must have or obtain Commercial Pesticide Application license within first 90 days
