Job Type Full-time Description Job Overview Foreperson are responsible for managing all resources assigned to them. This includes equipment/vehicle checks to ensure proper running condition. As a foreman you are responsible for quality control and profitability of your route through effective time management and use of company assets. Responsibilities and Duties
- Have complete knowledge of NGLN Maintenance contracts and individual customer expectations
- Schedule in advance with your supervisor for extra labor needs or materials required for visits
- Responsible for hands on training with assigned team members
- Ensure safe practices / the use of PPE and immediate reporting of any accidents/injuries
- Inspection of trucks, trailers and equipment on a daily basis to ensure safety of all team members/proper running conditions and neatness
- All equipment and trucks must be locked when not in use; on job sites and at the shop.
- Communicate with clients about the day's activities and your upcoming plans
- Maintain profitability of contracts by monitoring labor hours and materials used on the projects
- Ensure all clients requests are responded to within 24 hours from time of initial contact
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
Participate in snow/ice removal operations while maintaining a safe work environment Requirements Qualifications
- Valid NC Drivers License with limited infractions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- Ability to arrive to work on time with limited absences
- A minimum of 2 years landscape maintenance experience
- A foreperson should be self motivated, able to pay attention to detail and possess good communication skills
- A professional appearance and behavior must be maintained at all times
Salary Description $16-$20 DOE
