Position Overview

As a Homes.com New Construction Regional Director, you will lead a dynamic team that operates as a strategic digital marketing partner to new home builders within the residential real estate industry. You will lead a team of 8 to 10 salespeople responsible for developing and driving revenue by selling digital advertising and marketing solutions to new customers, growing existing customer revenues, and ensuring high levels of customer service. In your role as a manager, you will be accountable for coaching and developing your team members and ensuring they meet their sales targets and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Attract, hire, motivate, and develop high-impact salespeople capable of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
  • Travel approximately 50%, spending 3-4 days per week in the field on sales calls with your team, providing coaching and training to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Identify, prioritize, and secure new client relationships, while retaining and growing existing accounts in the market
  • Monitor sales performance and hold team members accountable to activity levels and relationship management to meet business targets
  • Manage weekly activities including participating in sales leadership meetings, maintaining CRM records, and tracking sales pipelines
  • Establish and monitor individual and team performance targets aligned with business goals; take corrective actions as needed
  • Develop and mentor team members
  • Ensure adherence to CoStar Group culture and values

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more employees, including hiring, training, and development
  • Experience in a fast-paced, transactional, consultative sales environment
  • Proven commitment to previous employers
  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of driving record checks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success in mentoring and coaching sales teams
  • Experience selling digital marketing and advertising in residential real estate, especially new home construction
  • Knowledge of homebuilder industry
  • Experience in start-up environments with adaptability to change
  • Ability to analyze data and provide strategic insights
  • Track record of rapidly growing sales territories and exceeding targets
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships at all levels
  • Strong internal and external relationship-building skills
  • Ability to retain top sales performers and address underperformers
