Homeless Liaison - Health and Social Services - Gwinnett County Public Schools : Job Details

Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Mc. Kinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act and the delivery of mandated services to facilitate the student?s attendance, interpreting laws relating to homeless students, providing case management, monitoring student progress, developing intervention strategies, and assisting in the coordination of education-related support services that serve GCPS homeless children. 1. Provide program administration for the Office of Health and Social Services. a. Coordinate support for homeless students through the Director of Health and Social Services to ensure compliance with federal guidelines. b. Maintain detailed records and program required documentation. c. Interpret laws relating to homeless students, ensuring the delivery of mandated services. d.
