UPMC Home Health is hiringa caring, skilled, and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our At-Home Therapy team! You'll work in a home setting with a diverse patient population throughout these surrounding communities. Working outside of a medical facility, you'll have an opportunity to get to know patients as you guide their care in the comfort of their homes.
\nMonday - Friday daylight shifts 8:00 am-4:30 pm
\nAs an Occupational Therapist with UPMC Home Health, you'll collaborate with our team of specialized nurses, social workers, dieticians, aides, and trained administrative staff to provide personalized patient care in a home setting.

\nProvide age-sensitive professional occupational therapy services in the home setting, including assessment, intervention, treatment, and instruction to patients of all ages to maximize functional abilities and ensure optimal care.Responsibilities:
\nGraduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association; or is eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association;
\nTwo (2) years of appropriate experience as an occupational therapist, and has achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service, except that such determinations of proficiency do not apply concerning persons initially licensed by a State or seeking initial qualification as an occupational therapist after December 31, 1977 required.
\nOne (1) year of Occupational Therapy experience to practice without supervision or less than one (1) year if practicing under supervision, i.e., ALF/PCH, required.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Basic Life Support OR Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Edit Occupational Therapist Effective Date 03/30/2010 Effective Sequence 0National Board Certification in Occupational therapy preferred. A member of the American Occupational Therapy Association is preferred. PR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
