RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage actively in all aspects of the training program, including reading, discussions, and coursework.
• Demonstrate safe and effective execution of tasks covered in the home health aide competency test.
• Achieve a minimum score of 80% on all quizzes and exams related to Home Health Aide training.
• Attend all training sessions and clinical orientations punctually.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid New York State Driver's License (NYS DL) is required (not necessary for ElderONE).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of direct patient care experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 lbs as needed.
• Proficient computer skills are a plus.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Valid New York State Driver's License (NYS DL) required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work - This position may require exertion of 20 to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. It involves considerable walking, standing, or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

This pay rate represents a good faith estimate of the base compensation for a full-time applicant. Pay is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, internal equity, and job location.
