Home Health Aide (HHA) Or Personal Care Aide (PCA)

ComForCare is a leading provider of home care services dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals in their homes. We take pride in offering compassionate care that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient. We are currently looking for a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our team in the Western Perinton area, providing outstanding care to our clients in a flexible, supportive environment.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) at ComForCare, you will provide non-medical, in-home support to individuals who need assistance with daily activities. You will help clients with personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. This position offers a steady part-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support, ensuring a positive and comfortable environment.
  • Helping clients with mobility, including transfers, walking assistance, and positioning.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as necessary.
  • Providing medication reminders and ensuring clients take their prescribed medications.
  • Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in client condition to the supervisor.
  • Adhering to company policies and standards, including HIPAA regulations for confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA).
  • Prior experience in a home care setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the care team.
  • Compassionate and patient, with a desire to help others.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to operate and drive a wheelchair-adapted minivan.
  • Must be available to work the specified hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
