Home Health Aide - Dignity Health : Job Details

Home Health Aides are responsible for providing personal care to home-bound patients and to foster independence as patient/family are able to begin assuming care. It is the responsibility of the aide to ensure that care is provided in a safe environment, utilizing equipment appropriately and as instructed. The Home Health Aide follows a defined Plan of Care and is responsible to document according to departmental policy and procedure. Qualifications. Minimum Qualifications:Requires a current Home Health Aide Certificate. Has the ability to read, speak and write English in order to perform duties of the position. Will demonstrate current competencies and certifications required by Home Healthcare. A current California drivers license, proof of current auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Knowledge of must be able to complete a homemaker/home aide competency examination.
