Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care tailored to their unique needs. This position requires a commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
  • Observe and report on patient conditions, ensuring any significant changes are communicated promptly to healthcare professionals.
  • Support clients by promoting independence while ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.

Experience

  • Previous experience in home health or community care settings is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with patient observation techniques and first aid practices is beneficial.
  • Experience working with individuals with spinal cord injuries is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
