Assembly Production Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Location: Tarboro, NC, USA

Job Summary:

This role involves managing and supervising the Engine Control Unit Assembly production area daily. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality units, implementing process improvements and cost savings, and managing schedules and teams.

The incumbent will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams to enhance existing processes and develop new ones, providing process expertise to meet corporate objectives within budget constraints.

• Supervise and develop ECU production personnel
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment for defects or malfunctions
• Maintain operations data
• Organize workflow
• Analyze charts, work orders, and production schedules to determine requirements
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences
• Requisition materials, supplies, and equipment
• Resolve associate problems, complaints, or grievances with management or subordinates
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations
• Perform daily activities and other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Business Management, Administration, or related field
• 3 years of experience as a direct supervisor
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Self-directed and task-oriented
• Willing to work overtime and all shifts
• Proven leadership ability
• Experience in coaching and counseling team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• 3+ years in high-speed automotive manufacturing environment
• Project management experience
• Over 5 years of supervisory experience with upward growth
