Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Histotechnologist located in Bryan, TX. The Histotechnologist will be responsible for preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination and diagnosis by pathologists. Daily tasks include tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining, as well as performing quality control procedures and maintaining laboratory equipment. The Histotechnologist will work closely with pathologists and other laboratory personnel to ensure accurate and timely results.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Histology, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining techniques
• Strong background in Pathology and laboratory skills
• ASCP certification or eligibility is preferred
• Experience in performing Quality Control procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work collaboratively in a laboratory setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
