Job Title: Histotechnologist II

Duration: 181 days (looking to convert candidate to perm after 181 days)

Shift: 3rd Shift 1pm-930pm

Eligibility: U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, and Employment Authorization Document (EAD) holders are eligible to apply.

Required Skills: :

• Is embedding experience required? Yes

• Is Microtomy experience required? Yes

• How many blocks will a candidate need to cut/hour and embed/hour? Cut, 20 to 30 blocks, Embed 20 to 30

• Does candidate need to have grossing experience? If so, what types of tissue do they need experience with? No grossing exp needed for this req.

• If resource will be servicing an end client, verify if a negative THC screen is required. Yes

• Any additional onboarding requirements? (Will require the below credentialing form to be filled out). A copy of candidates transcripts will need to be sent over once background is cleared so HM can review and verify.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Biology or equivalent
