Histology Technologist - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is hiring a “Histotechnologist II” to support our client's medical facility-based, Milwaukee, WI 53211. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position Name: Histotechnologist II

Pay rate: $30/hr -$32/hr

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53211

Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension

Shift: 3rd 1am-9:30am

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory tests to support diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention.
• Analyze and verify accuracy of lab results and biological samples.
• Identify and test microbial organisms through culture and isolation.
• Conduct clinical trials and support pharmaceutical research.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, analyzers).

Skills Required:

• Strong verbal/written communication and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of diagnostic techniques and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Proficient in data analysis and accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in medical technology or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant laboratory experience.
