HIRING FOR FORKLIFT OPERATOR, PAY $22/HR - Aerotek : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler responsible for the storage, movement, and disbursement of materials to satisfy production requirements. This role involves using PIT equipment and requires approximately 60% of the time operating a forklift and 40% manually picking materials.

Responsibilities:

• Complete PIT equipment training and become certified to drive at the facility.
• Ensure proper warehousing of materials.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Learn and utilize the inventory management system.
• Understand and follow instructions on build tickets and picking documents.
• Follow safe and proper material movement procedures from truck to dock, dock to rack locations, rack to picking areas, picking areas to kits, production, and outbound customer facilities.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.
• Support the Quality and Environmental policies and Management Systems.
• Perform other duties as needed or required.

Essential Skills:

• Forklift operation and certification.
• Inventory management.
• Material handling expertise.
• Ability to use RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Entry-level candidates accepted.
• Desire to learn.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a production facility with 6 assembly lines, operating Monday through Friday. Shifts include 1st and 2nd (3pm - 12:30am). The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt, with eye, ear, and hand protection provided.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alburtis, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
