Job Summary - Why you'll love this position Higginsville Habilitation Center is recruiting for an Administrative Support Assistant, to be a part of a highly effective team, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state-operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports individuals receiving 24/7 services. The Administrative Support Assistant must be detail-oriented, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer programs, possess skills in operating office equipment and be willing to travel occasionally. Responsibilities - What you'll doResponsibilities: Will be responsible for a variety of clerical, printing and mail related tasks in support of work unit. Must have knowledge of the procedures and processes applicable to the performance of the work on a daily or weekly basis. Ability to organize work assignments and provide guidance to other employees. Must be able to work independently. This position supports the Campus, CIN, and HOPE units at HHC, as well as providing assistance to the Assistant Superintendent. Qualifications - All you need for successQualifications: 1 - 3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.) Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.SCHEDULE: Scheduled to work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off.
