Position Overview

A leading cancer center in North Iowa is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician with prior leadership experience to serve as Medical Director. Leadership & Clinical Role

• Lead program development, recruitment, and quality initiatives

• Foster a culture of clinical excellence, innovation, and teamwork

• Emphasize patient-centered care and colleague engagement

• Outpatient-focused role with minimal inpatient involvement

• Phone-only call rotation (1:4) with 24/7 hospitalist support

Practice Highlights

• Multidisciplinary tumor boards: Radiology, Pathology, Surgery, GI, Urology, etc.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology (ABIM or AOBIM; must certify within 3 years if BE)

• Active or eligible for Iowa license or IMLC

• BLS, DEA, CDS certifications (by start date)

• Prior leadership experience preferred
