Job Description :

St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Hematology/Oncology team. This is a full-time outpatient position offering an opportunity to deliver comprehensive cancer care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Position Details & Qualifications:

  • Full-time, outpatient-based role
  • Provide direct patient care under physician supervision
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment response
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and side effect management
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Illinois
  • Board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred
  • New graduates with strong oncology RN backgrounds may be considered
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Ukrainian is a plus

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
