A leading community-based medical center in Brooklyn is currently seeking a Director of Hematology and Medical Oncology to lead its growing cancer care program. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for a board-certified physician looking to shape strategic, patient-centered cancer services.Responsibilities:The Director of Hematology and Medical Oncology will be responsible for:

• Creating and executing a strategic vision for regional cancer care services, including clinical care, patient experience, and financial goals
• Leading and overseeing a patient-focused, multidisciplinary oncology program
• Expanding oncology services and access to care for the community
• Driving interdepartmental collaboration across clinical disciplines
• Diagnosing and managing disorders of the blood, bone marrow, vascular, and immune systems
• Supporting clinical research and programmatic development initiatives

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a community cancer center
• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification in both Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Expertise in either hematologic malignancies or solid tumors
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration
• Strong organizational, communication, and program development skills
• Experience in process improvement and stakeholder alignment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care
