A Cancer Center attached to hospital is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

Albany is the capital city of New York State! There is plenty to do while on assignment! Take a trip to the New York State Museum or the Albany Institue of History and Art

This position includes a mix of clinic and some inpatient work with 1:5 call. The schedule preference is two weeks on, two weeks off. The team consists of two other Hematology/Oncology physicians, Radiation Oncologists, five APPs, and RNs. The patient mix is about 50% oncology and 50% hematology. Epic EMR is used, credentialing takes about one month, and candidates must hold an active NY license and be board certified in Medical Oncology.
