A hospital is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Southern Indiana.

This position is for a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician (or BC in Medical Oncology with a completed Hematology fellowship) to provide inpatient and outpatient care at a 266-bed facility, with 90% hematology and 10% oncology patients, all adults. Duties include clinic (approx. 15 patients/day), hospital rounding, oncology consults as needed, and after-hours/weekend call (FridayMonday). Coverage dates include multiple one-week assignments from September through December 2025, with 8 hours of on-site patient care daily plus call on select weekends. EPIC EMR is used, with RN, MA, and scheduler support. Required experience includes chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and immunotherapy. BLS certification is required.
