Helper (PECO) - Exelon Corporation : Job Details

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION The Helper Preparation Training program will provide an opportunity to meet the qualifications for apprenticeships. Helpers will observe and assist higher classified employees and receive classroom and on the job instruction. The Helper Program consists of two phases for a total of a twenty-four months. Phase 1 is a thirteen-week introduction to utilities industry, through classroom instruction and department rotations which will include on the job skill building assignments. Phase 2 of the Program will prepare Helpers for placement after completion of the Helper Program in one of the following departments: Electric Aerial or Underground, Gas, or Overhead Transmission.
