Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an entry level Helpdesk Support Technician for one of our large oil and gas clients in Downtown Houston, TX. This person will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining critical infrastructure across network, storage, and virtualization environments, and this role will involve managing incident resolution and escalations, analyzing performance metrics, and supporting tools like PRTG, FortiGate, Kubernetes, and VMware. The ideal candidate for this role will come from a helpdesk or infrastructure support environment, and will have great customer service skills. The pay rate for this position will be $20/hr, and will increase to $27/hr at the 6 month mark.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in oil and gas related field or equivalent experience
Must possess strong technical skills
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paces environment
Excellent communication skills Previous infrastructure experience is a plus (VCenter, Storage, PRTG) null
