Help Desk Support Specialist

Cimarron is seeking Help Desk Support Specialists to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. We are seeking four employees to work at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, and one employee to work in Dahlgren, VA.

Key Duties:

  • Analyze data to identify and implement technical resolutions.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting for break/fix issues.
  • Escalate and communicate status updates to MDA customers.
  • Support enterprise projects that impact Service Desk workflows.
  • Complete daily operational tasks.
  • Document all work in the Remedy ticketing system.
  • Use the knowledge database to assist in resolving customer issues.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant, please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your driver's license or state ID.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable amount of time.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (ex., Security+) within 90 days of start.
  • Four or more years of general, full-time work experience.
  • Six or more months of IT experience.
  • Experience working in IT customer service.
