ASRC Federal Technology Solutions (AFTS) is seeking qualified candidates with a minimum of a Secret clearance for a Help Desk-Intermediate to support our Army analytics Group work in Fairfield CA.
The Help Desk Specialist - Intermediate provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end-users within a secure government environment in Fairfield, CA.
The candidate will assist users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues, maintain incident records, and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
This role supports a mission-critical environment and requires adherence to DoD help desk response and escalation policies.
Qualifications:
HS Grad plus 5 years experience or Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Five (5) or more years of IT service desk or technical support experience.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), Active Directory, and basic networking is necessary.
Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills are required.
Active DOD Secret clearance is required. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
Certification Requirements:
IAT Level 2 preferred, not required
