POSITIONS NEEDEDHeavy Equipment Operator: The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various equipment such as Backhoe, Skid Steer, Excavator, Dozer, and other miscellaneous equipment. Must have thorough knowledge of the operation, safety, and maintenance of the equipment being operated. Must possess the ability to safely operate equipment in the presence of field crew members and utilities, ensuring the safety of all persons, equipment, property, and utilities in the area. Heavy Equipment Operators are responsible for adhering to all safety regulations and reporting any violations to field supervision immediately.Medium Equipment Operator: The Medium Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various equipment such as Backhoe, Skid Steer, Excavator, Dozer, and other miscellaneous equipment. Must have thorough knowledge of the operation, safety, and maintenance of the equipment being operated. Must possess the ability to safely operate equipment in the presence of field crew members and utilities, ensuring the safety of all persons, equipment, property, and utilities in the area. Medium Equipment Operators are responsible for adhering to all safety regulations and reporting any violations to field supervision immediately.FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTSOperates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractorsPrepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavationUses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches used in structural concreteTransports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sitesUses equipment to prepare building sites for exterior site concrete such as parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and loading docksOperates machinery used to build bridges, roads, and railroadsInspects and fuels vehicle prior to beginning shiftPerforms routine maintenance and repairsPerforms other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATION STANDARDSOne (1) to five (5) years of experience with all dirt work areas, including excavation, grade work, surveying, and final excavating workMSHA Experience and Certification preferredMust be able to Pass Drug Test, Physical & Background CheckExtensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities preferredAbility to read building plans related to structural concrete and land grades preferredExcellent mechanical skills preferredAbility to follow instructionsHands on leaderA basic understanding of how to read blueprintsGood communication skillsFlexibility & willingness to work in multiple positions to see the project completed as efficiently and cost-effectively as possibleMust not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplaceAdhere to job site safety requirements as required by the client Safety equipment as required by the client (I.E., hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust comply with company's drug and alcohol abuse policyAble to carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials.
