Heavy Equipment Operator ( Lake Panasoffkee, FL) - Waste Connections : Job Details

We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious Equipment Operators to join the team at Heart of Florida Landfill in Lake Panasoffkee, FL. Previous landfill or waste experience would be a hugeplus.Pay range; $20.00 to $22.00 an hour DOEThe position is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week. Pay Range for this position depends on experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as neededSpreading and compacting trash using a CompactorSpreading daily cover using a DozerExcavating soil using an ExcavatorHauling soilWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:The work environment is an outdoor landfill setting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
