Heavy Equipment Diesel FIELD Mechanic - TEL Staffing & HR : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Field Mechanic to join our team. As a Field Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance on Heavy Equipment, diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with Heavy Equipment, diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct inspections to identify faulty parts or components that need repair or replacement
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose problems accurately
• Repair or replace defective parts, hydraulics, hydrostatic drives, brakes, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of diesel engines and Heavy Equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of diesel engine Heavy Equipment repair and maintenance
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Experience with HVAC systems in diesel Heavy Equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems in heavy equipment

SCHEDULE:

• 8 hour shift -- FULL TIME
• Monday to Friday
• Work Location: In person

REQUIREMENTS:

• OVER 21-years of age
• VALID driver's license
• GOOD driving record
• Must have your own set of tools

PAY: This position starts at: $30/hr. - $40/hr. (Depending on your experience level) BENEFITS: (Available after completion of Temp period)
