Heavy Civil Estimator Location - NY, NJ, CT, PA, MA & RI Salaries range from $120k-$200k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO and Bonus scheme. Our Client:

• I'm excited to announce Venda Search are working with a number of leading heavy civil construction companies in NY, NJ, CT, PA, MA & RI. The companies specialize in large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, utilities, and site development. They're searching for experienced Estimators to work on their large-scale Transportation projects with local counties and the DOT

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including earthworks, utilities, roads, and structures.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to understand scope of work.
• Analyze and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
• Develop cost-effective solutions and value engineering alternatives.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy of estimates.
• Assist in pre-bid meetings and presentations

The successful candidate must have/show:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction estimating.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
