We are a licensed HVAC and Refrigeration contractor that is wholly owned by a General Contractor, Trawick Contractors, Inc. We perform HVAC and refrigeration work for businesses in the Central Alabama area as well as self perform mechanical work on our construction sites.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Heating Air Conditioning Service Manager located in Birmingham, AL. The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing HVAC service operations, managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The manager will need to build up the customer base for our service area as well as hire new service technicians and cut any unnecessary costs to improve profits. Daily tasks include scheduling and dispatching service appointments, troubleshooting and resolving HVAC service issues, providing technical support to technicians, and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair
• Experience in managing and leading a team of technicians
• Expand the commercial customer business base
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC systems
• Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
