Under the supervision of Clinical IT Leadership, this role is responsible for collaboratively selecting, planning, integrating, supporting, and improving complex healthcare solutions within a modern, technology-rich healthcare system. Many solutions are integrated with Epic, while some are not. The role involves collaborating with and providing expert-level support to counterparts from other applications to meet development and implementation objectives. The incumbent will serve as project lead for key initiatives, including project management duties, and develop internal procedures for systems integration. Professional interaction with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors is essential.

• Maintain and collaborate on healthcare technologies with UT Health support teams.
• Manage activities from solution ideation to implementation.
• Review business contexts, define vision and requirements, recommend options, and develop roadmaps for solutions.
• Communicate architecture to stakeholders and coordinate with domain architects to adopt IT standards.
• Champion structured healthcare application solutions.
• Assist in developing solutions architecture programs, including roadmaps and project portfolios.
• Ensure solutions align with standards and guidelines, influencing changes when necessary.
• Support solutions management and financial planning for application upgrades or replacements.
• Develop and execute solutions to reduce reactive work time.

• Experience with digital health solutions such as Vocera, SPOK, Stryker Vision, and others listed.
• Deep understanding of healthcare systems, regulations, and workflows.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive healthcare innovation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, especially in financial aspects.
• Ability to work independently and understand IT topics broadly.
• Knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity in healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid skill acquisition.
• Creativity and open-mindedness in technical solutions.
• Proficiency in IT in secure environments and Microsoft applications.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in healthcare IT solutions architecture, with experience integrating clinical solutions with Epic preferred.
