Healthcare Recruiter (PAGNY)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an opportunity to support Correctional Health Services, which is part NYC Health + Hospitals (H+H), the largest public health system in the United States. This opportunity will support the staffing needs at Rikers Island in the Bronx, NY. New Yorks largest correctional facility.

Job Responsibilities;

Research, formulate, propose and implement creative recruitment strategies to ensure high caliber candidates.

Work closely with site leadership and hiring managers on current as well as future recruitment for their department and pipeline candidates.

Prepare and propose search strategy and budget. Provide market information.

Write convincing marketing materials to include advertisements, practice profiles and Internet postings.

Manage search process to include receiving, reviewing, tracking, interviewing and selecting resumes/CVs for further review.

Identify candidate pipeline through multiple channels including mining online resources, social/professional networking sites, print media, cold-calling and other methods.

Establish and maintain a solid working relationship with schools, colleges, universities and residency/fellowship programs for assigned areas of responsibility.

Proactively conduct research and investigate innovative ways to identify new candidates.

Manage email campaigns, job fairs (both internal and external), open houses, employee referral programs and other special events.

Generating reports from single or multiple systems.

Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources.

May perform other duties, as assigned.

Job Qualifications;

Bachelor s degree required, preferably in marketing, business, or other health-related fields.

Minimum 3 years previous experience in human resources or recruitment role in a healthcare environment.

Proven skills in the evaluation of candidates. Excellent judgement skills.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.

High attention to detail. Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines.

Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
