We are seeking a dynamic and experienced High Volume Healthcare Recruiter to join our hospital system's Talent Acquisition team. This role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified clinical and non-clinical professionals to meet the staffing needs across multiple departments and facilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, and has a proven track record of managing large requisition loads efficiently. This is currently a 6-month contract with onsite work required, but with flexibility to become a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop strategic recruitment plans.
- Manage 50+ open requisitions simultaneously, including roles such as RNs, LPNs, CNAs, MAs, surgical techs, and administrative staff
- Create and post compelling job descriptions across platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and internal career sites
- Conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, and facilitate candidate assessments and reference checks.
- Negotiate offers and employment terms, ensuring alignment with compensation structures and internal equity
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate weekly recruitment metrics and reports
- Collaborate with credentialing teams to ensure compliance with licensure and onboarding requirements
- Attend job fairs and networking events to build candidate pipelines and promote employer branding
- Stay current on healthcare recruitment trends, compliance standards, and Joint Commission requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in high-volume healthcare recruitment, preferably within a hospital or healthcare staffing agency
- Strong understanding of clinical roles and credentialing processes.
- Proficiency in ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
