Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Healthcare Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid (1 day in the office - Thursday) - Phoenix, AZ 85021

Pay rate: $60-$65/hr

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and manage projects to meet defined objectives within time and budget constraints.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and document status reports.
• Engage and collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to align on project deliverables.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, or take over projects mid-flight to course-correct as needed.
• Track progress using project management tools like MS Project, Gantt charts, RAID logs, and SharePoint.
• Deliver presentations and status updates to leadership at various levels.
• Apply PM methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile to ensure timely, quality outcomes.
• Contribute to PMO process improvements and organizational best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior team members when applicable.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of PM experience in the healthcare industry.
• High School Diploma or GED..
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong experience with MS Project Application, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Collaboration, creating buy-in, driving for results, decision-making, identifying and mitigating risks, and professional presence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation.
• Budgeting and financial management experience.
• Adaptability and perseverance in dynamic environments.

Nice to have:

• Master's Degree in Business or Information Systems.
• PMP, Agile Practitioner, Lean Enterprise, or Six Sigma.
• Experience with enterprise-wide projects and the healthcare or insurance industries.
