Multi-Specialty is excited to announce an opening for a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Patient Services Coordinator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be essential in implementing our set processes and protocols, working collaboratively with our care team to uphold the organization's vision and mission. Your focus on delivering exceptional customer service will also help us meet our financial, clinical, and service goals.
The Healthcare Patient Services Coordinator will greet and register patients warmly and efficiently, while also instructing, directing, and scheduling appointments for patients and visitors. You will manage payments, issue receipts, and accurately track payment data.
Schedule: This position operates seven days a week, with a total of 38 hours per week consisting of four 10-hour shifts. Shifts will range between 6:30 am and approximately 8:00 pm, with a schedule assigned by the supervisor upon hire. This role includes rotating holidays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain professionalism as outlined by the practice guidelines.
- Uphold a professional appearance by adhering to the dress code.
- Provide courteous service to patients and staff alike.
- Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all communications.
- Actively participate as a member of a quality care team.
- Stay informed of new policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Attend mandatory quarterly staff meetings; review minutes if unable to attend.
- Complete annual Mandatory Education sessions.
- Support peer training for new Patient Services employees.
- Handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism using H.E.A.R.T. principles.
- Demonstrate good judgment by escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Exhibit professionalism in punctuality and attendance.
- Assist coworkers to achieve office goals and maintain patient satisfaction.
- Manage patient check-ins through EPIC and ensure all information is accurate and updated.
- Process insurance verification and ensure correct patient demographic information.
- Obtain patient signatures on all necessary forms.
- Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient appointment statuses.
- Collect payments while maintaining compliance with Cash Control Policies.
- Foster strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Flexibly adapt to meet patient and office needs while maintaining urgency.

What we're looking for:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service or healthcare experience
- Intermediate computer skills, capable of managing multiple applications simultaneously
- Experience in a healthcare setting, ideally with electronic health records
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask effectively
