Healthcare Marketing & Events Manager

Marwood Group is a global healthcare consulting firm specializing in market diligence, strategic and operational consulting services for healthcare investors, corporations and other industry stakeholders. Marwood is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the firm s marketing and business development efforts across its Advisory services business. Marwood s clients include top tier private equity firms, global healthcare corporations, and large healthcare lenders in the US and select international markets. Candidates should have deep interest in marketing, business development and healthcare industry market and policy dynamics.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

5+ years managing marketing-related responsibilities, business development efforts, and client relationship management

Develop and support annual marketing and business development plans focused on priorities outlined by business development leadership

Collaborate with marketing & business development department leadership and practice leaders to develop annual budgets to support initiatives outlined by leadership

Identify and coordinate speaking opportunities for firm personnel at various healthcare conferences and with healthcare organizations

Plan, execute, and attend business development focused meetings, events, conferences, webinars and other client-facing initiatives

Conduct analysis around competitive intelligence-gathering for strategic planning, competitive firm positioning, and business development activities

Formulate and design marketing materials to showcase firm s expertise and capabilities

Assist in managing CRM, marketing distribution engine (Pardot) and other BD-related administrative tasks, including data gathering, interaction recording, list creation, content campaigns

Help in supporting marketing and BD training activities when relevant to junior staff

Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to influence leaders and staff

Ability to multi-task effectively, juggling multiple and competing tasks

Team player and ability to be proactive in finding and initiating marketing opportunities

Other duties as outlined by team

Willingness to travel 20% of the time to attend client meetings, industry events and other BD-related requirements

Candidates are expected to have a bachelor s degree from a top tier university; master s degree preferred but not required. Prior experience in marketing is a prerequisite, and healthcare background is preferred but not required.

Compensation is a salary commensurate with experience plus performance incentives and benefits package.
