100% FTEDaysHybridDEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe Strategy Division leads strategy development, business development, service delivery planning and execution for UW Medicine, inclusive of Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center and in collaboration with integrated partners such as Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Valley Medical Center and Seattle Children's Hospital.POSITION HIGHLIGHTSServe as a critical resource in supporting, managing and driving hospital operations projects and initiativesSupport operations management in executing top priority operations projects that may cross locations or entities and involve various teams in addition to operations such as IT, Facilities and FinancePRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvides project management for full project life cycle of complex, top-priority operational projectsMonitors and manages project health with strong documentation including milestones, deliverables, scope, risks, issues and resources needed to successfully execute the projectsBuilds and utilizes common project management tools and standard approach while managing multiple stakeholdersManage complex operational projects throughout the entire project lifecycle--initiation through closureInteracts closely with hospital leadership and works directly with stakeholders across the system to drive successful planning and implementation of priority projectsHigh level of comfort with standard project management tools including but not limited to charters, project plans / Gantt charts, RAID logs, RACI, communication plans, change management plans and executive status reportingREQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in the areas of information systems, business administration, health care administration or related fieldAt least 7 years of demonstrated success/results in a Project Management (e.g., having overseen and managed multiple projects)Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, employees and teams to work toward deploying a different future stateStrong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiencesProven experience motivating high-performing individuals; creating inclusive and collaborative team environmentStrong organizational skills and the ability to work independentlyAbility to prioritize, plan and organize work deliverablesAn equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.ABOUT UW MEDICINE – WHERE YOUR IMPACT GOES FURTHERUW Medicine is Washington's only health system that includes a top-rated medical school and an internationally recognized research center.
